New Paltz Regatta Boat Race Festival – June 2026
Settling into the warmer weather that June has to offer, watch the Wallkill River work its flow during the New Paltz Regatta Boat Race on June 14th, 2026! The boat race upholds its 71st year tradition of participants bringing their custom-made boats, racing through the Wallkill River and finishing at the Carmine Liberta Bridge. Watch as racers show off their craft and race for a quarter mile and embrace their community in the Hudson Valley. After the race, enjoy the parade taking place to celebrate the end of spring and the arrival of summer. Feeling generous? 25% of donations and proceedings to the event are donated to RiverKeeper, a foundation dedicated to fighting for clean water in the Hudson Valley and New York City. Rosendale Street Festival – July 2026
Soaking in the summer fun, a festival awaits to keep the mood and fun going. Located an hour from Stoneline Chalet and Le View Chalet, the Rosendale Street Festival takes place on July 19th and 20th, and admission is free! Witness hundreds of bands across 8 stages perform varying genres to suit your musical tastes. Take part in the food, drinks, and merchandise the vendors have to offer to keep you hydrated, stuffed, and entertained. Set up by volunteers and sponsors, profits from the event are donated to the music programs of the three school districts located in Rosendale, so donations are always welcome. End the day with live music and an unforgettable energy that can’t be beat.

The Catskills annual Yoga Festival provides over 50 yoga classes and workshops to free your mind and promote overall wellness. Tour of the Catskills Bicycle Race Festival – August 2026
Although August slows down the summer season as it prepares to transition to the fall, the fun doesn’t have to slow down with it. Tour of the Catskills Bicycle Race, beginning August 8th, encourages you to experience the beauty of the Catskills Mountain, all while keeping your heart pumping. Located 15 minutes from Le View Chalet and 13 minutes from Stoneline Chalet, this tour offers 3 different trails to suit your biking level, with a 27 mile, a 52 mile, and a 72 mile trail for those who want to put their skills to the test. Despite the title of the event, no competition takes place, but rather a recreational ride meant to encourage sight seeing through exercise. Provided with road markings, hospitality, and support of any need, this tour is one of the most popular of the region, bringing in riders from all over the world to spread their love of the Catskills.
